Dang. I thought I was all done with fun new toys. I've got to say, I'm no sure how I lived so long withOUT one. As my 5 year old says...."It's bloody brilliant!"
Any tips of the trade on these things? I got a used older one, the "Plus".
Do the older ones allow for more than one stored loop? Been thinking about a Boomerang myself, I know the "III" version allows for multiple loops, so you can, for example, store a verse and a chorus and a middle eight to play over, wondering if the original models do this as well?
You can create a verse and chorus on loop A, and create a channel to play over if you like on loop B. There are two independent loops on my "plus" version, I guess that would be version 2. You can't actually store anything on the older units....they are only for live. As soon as you unplug....it's all gone.
They are FANTASTIC for what they do, however. Great tone, no signal loss, SUPER easy to use. I've had it for three days. I love it. Love it.
And....I've got to say, that volume treadle is indisposable. Makes it easy to lay down a rhythm groove which you can make loop in at a slightly quieter volume. Nice thinking.
