was the first show I saw at SXSW last week. Jim, you sounded courageous as usual, as did the rest of the band. Was that your orig '59 or a highly reliced sig model?
Thanks - glad you enjoyed the show. I had both guitars - 59 and Signature (an Orange one, that is one of two, the other will be in a give-a-way), but opted for the '59 because of the humidity change. It's older wood and understandably, a bit more stable.
I saw that show. It was awesome! Here are some pics. I met you (JIM) in Waterloo after the show while you were getting "as many records as you could grab." It was the first time I had ever been starstruck!! I think i even mispronounced your name I was so suprised and nervous to see you right in front of my face! I told you "you were the reason I got a tele," which is totally true. It was a truly cooool experience! Thanks Jim! PS How do you enter to win the Orange sig? I told you it was a little out of my price range when you mentioned getting a JC signature.
