The Dunlop Volume Pedal seems sturdy and capable of withstanding ... standing! I broke my Ernie Ball Volume Pedal almost every time I used it (call me Bigfoot) and finally abandoned the model I had...
Aside from an even taper the Dunlop Volume Pedal has a tuner "out". Highly recommended.

    The volume pedal I like best is an old Sho-Bud. It is so smooth and never broke.

    the sturdiest i've ever used is the classic Boss FV-500H. it's been with me ever since i got it, needless to say , i never had any issues with it and , from what i recall, it really is a bargain.
