Software Looper for Guitar?

edited March 2013 in General
I really love my Boomerang and Jamman looper pedals, but it would be handy to have a simple software looper for my Macbook when I am traveling.

The looper software I have already found (e.g. Mobius) seems to be rather complicated and I am looking for something really simple that can do what the typical looper pedals can do.

Has anyone tried the looper in Apple's Main Stage 2? This one looks really simple. Is there anything you have tried and could recommend?

Well, you can't operate it with your feet unless you are a circus acrobat or something, but any DAW system, even as simple as Garageband, will allow you to loop
a part you record into it for practicing purposes. I like the application "Riffmaster Pro" for playing tracks for practice, and looping them also. You can adjust tempo
and pitch quite easily and the GUI mirrors itunes or Logic in some respects. It has a low cheeze factor, also. If you wanted to engage in live looping for creative purposes,
    Ableton Live is quite good.

    Best,
