True, but the quality is nowhere near what a DVD would be, and while I love all those YT clips, it would be cool to have one, cohesive, performance, that one could sit down with a drink or two and enjoy not only what the hear, but also watching you play.
You know... instead of a bunch of (great but disjointed) YT clips, a CONCERT experience.
Just an idea. I'd definitely buy one! So you've got ONE sold!
Hey, 3 sold already! I count myself very fortunate to have seen Jim live multiple of times, only bought the CDs after been mesmerized by his playing in a concert in 2003. OK, I'll buy two, if that helps any.
I'd love a DVD like the one by Redd Volkaert, which has a gig plus him discussing his career for a decent while (while driving in his truck, btw) and then an instructional part. Too bad my copy of the Redd Volkaert one cracked in the center and won't play anymore, so it's in my 1-year daughter's toy box now.
On the other hand, I think the downloadable lessons make a lot better "business sense" than DVDs. Why distribute something as physical copies when you don't need to.
Plus another one here Jim, a well recorded show at Living Room would be ace to have... you could also sell it as an ISO download (Big files, but people buy them).
I think you should do some instructional vids too mate!

We have discussed a live performance DVD, but we wonder if it's a good idea knowing there are 70 plus Youtube clips to view for free ...

I am likely never going to be fortunate enough to be in New York to see a live performance. DVD is as close as I will get.
