...and I don't mean "Solo Guitar", but solo in a song. Either original, cover or as a sideman.

    I don't hear Jim's music as "here comes the solo" type of music. It's much more of a tapestry. Just a beautiful painting of music. As a sideman, probably "Gotta Get Drunk" on the Willies album. And he can even hand Norah her drink while he's playing it! ;)

    Well, my current favorite is "Like Butter" and I do believe you hear that one coming right before it slices your brain in half.

    Right now, Jim's solo on "Cat Under A Car" is tied with Ribot's solo on Tom Waits' "Cold Water" for favorite solo EVER...
