This is going to sound weird, but I feel like if you played some of this stuff on a tele plugged into a Princeton, it would sound very JC-esque! I have a little spanish guitar in my library, but am always on the lookout for more...

We've got a acoustic LP I'm working on with the great Steve Cardenas- I have no idea on the release. I'm a novice compared to the artists I've posted on soundcloud, but I do hear what you're talking about Ruger. Thank you!
