New member w/ Campy tele
Hello.
I'm 46 years old, live in Finland. I play strat and teles and old style country music.
I found this forum when I saw an used "Jim Campilongo signature telecaster" in october 2013 in Finnish guitarstore and ended this forum when searching specs for this guitar.
I felt the guitar was a bit pircy but the salesman told me: "no, it's cheap..." -well, I guess I have to start to thinking a new way... So I bought this guitar. Bandmates noticed my new sound immediatly.
I've downloaded few lessons: "Chet Song", "BbJazzBlues" to get start.
Never seen Jim in live, thought he's been in Finland too. But I knew his music and playing style when read some article in Finnish magazine some years ago.

the custom shop, signature guitars are never cheap, but they are high quality, so consider yourself fortunate to be able to afford and own one. I'd love to have one of Jim's sig teles. Post a photo of it if you can.
and enjoy the lessons. I've done both of those. still working on Chet Song. that's a massive lesson. Twister is my current favourite.
