guitars at the metropolitan museum of art

edited March 2015 in Root
On Wednesday I visited the Metropolitain Museum to see Segovia’s Hauser - it was an absolute thrill to be that close to the guitar of the maestro. I took a few pics, but I shied away from taking more- feeling I wanted to experience the moment. Anyway, below are a few pics - one photo is Segovia’s Hauser showing the sweat stain. One of the few sweat stains that made me smile! Also included is an early Gibson and early Martin.... (not sure those two photos appear upside down)

  • Jim, not sure if you have ever made the trip out to Nazareth, PA for the Martin factory tour/museum, but it is well worth the trip! The wife enjoyed the day almost as much as I did!
  • Ruger- I haven't, but I hear its a thrill. Thank you -Jim
