  • It's seldom I venture into the big city.............but if I can hear Jim Campilongo play guitar.........I will risk it.
  • Hey, K.G., don't fret the mean streets. I'll have my goon squad in tow - The Pine Box Boys. They'll whoop ass anytime, anywhere. They're lively and fun too!
  • Yeah MzDeVille, I met a couple a those "Pine Box" fellers before. Think I met one called Hamster Wheel, he plays the drums, n I met another big tall fella with a black hat. I have no life insurance so when my number comes up think I'll get buried in a cardboard box. In that movie, "Sling Blade" Carl buried his little baby brother in a shoe box, think he marked the grave with a rock. Ole Phil Calero is gonna be there too, now there's a guy what looks like he can take care a some business, right along with Dave Boat. Marc Baum might show up n hopefully the whole Campilongo family too. When I feel Christmas spirit like this it's usually cuz I know that "Jim Campilongo Is Comin To Town". Hell, I'm gettin excited just writtin bout it. It's conjuring up all kinds of mental movies. Maybe all a New York City might head this way n Jim will have to play out on the street cuz they wont be able to fit all them fans n friends into Yoshi's? That Jim really knows how to make ever body feel relaxed n like they been friends forever,,,even if they dont know one another,...then he blasts em with his music n wit. Must be the italian in him.
I met lots a really nice people through Jim. Maybe friendliness begats friendliness n his kinda music helps all them good feelins to start to snowballin. With you there that'll be the icing on the cake. Wow......just imagine.........all the guitar playin n camaraderie then at some unknown point in time I get to die n go to hell for all eternity. It's the high point of the year so I will just forget about the eternal fires of the afterlife n concentrate on trying to feel good.
I better call my friend Garfield Kincross n see if he's a goin too, we git together at Jim's Christmas visit, its our annual reunion.
If it wasn't for Jim tellin me to go on Facebook I would of never got the job offer I got n wouldn't be able to afford the gas n bridge to get down there. Life is just full a surprises. Campilongo I think is the best guitar player I know and he is even a better person than he is a guitar player. How the hell can anybody be so nice? If ole Rod Serling was still alive I'm sure he'd have a episode to write about the whole doins.
When it comes to Christmas I can be a lot like ole Scrooge, but Jim Camplilongo makes Chirstmas good. If there is a Jesus, Jim knows how to really make his birthday a spiritual event.
