SECURING YOUR CABLE
If you've ever stepped on your own guitar cable at a show and pulled it out mid-solo, you've learned a BIG lesson in humility. This embarrassing moment can be avoided by a simple procedure: Bring your cable through the inside of your guitar strap. Situate it where the strap sits tightly against the guitar body, and then plug in. Securing it in this snug position against your strap serves to anchor it and prevent it from coming unplugged.
