Souldier Guitar Straps

After looking at "vintage" straps going for $120.00 on eBay I decided this post would be timely and in good taste with how we do things here on the forum. I do have a very casual endorsement deal with Souldier, but I bought their product before seeking them out.

I recently decided to forego my "Fender" strap and bought a Souldier guitar strap at Southside Guitars (Grand St 11211)

I was enamored by the Souldier classic design that resembled the strap Jimi Hendrix wore during the Woodstock era- I happened to own that same design when I was 15 years old! ... (see below)

Out of curiosity, I visited the Souldier website and was overwhelmed by the enormity of their designs and variables. One can mix and match the hundreds of patterns and color bases and come up with a unique and personalized strap of their own design.

Souldier straps are designed on heavy duty "seat belt" material that slides nicely on your shoulder. The Souldier straps have a secure piece of leather on both ends that allow me to use both my hands confidently, while the guitar is securely attached to the strap. No more safeguard holding - I cinch my pants up using both hands with confidence!

The Souldier website is worth a visit- to go down memory lane, to see new unique designs in guitar straps, or to see Ace Frehley 2013, without makeup.

Highly recommended!

  • Good call, love their straps, and wow, their website has really changed since the last time I was there, before, one couldn't find Ace Frehley anywhere on it!
  • Love all my Souldier Straps! I've got about 10 now. Jen, the owner of Souldier, is a great Lady! I'm a dealer for them, and they make an amazing product. Just tough when I do orders because there are so many options :D
  • I just made the switch from a dimarzio cliplok (coolest strap possible when I was in high school) to a Souldier and I realllllly like it. Seat belt is really the best strap material!
