Chet Song lesson recommendation
I just wanted to mention how much I've learned from the Chet Song lesson. I purchased the lesson to learn the main lick, which is very cool. But I've ended up learning more from the sections on improv, 3rds, and 6ths, than I think I've ever learned in a single lesson. Maybe "learn" isn't even the correct term. Maybe "use". I knew the major scale and what 3rd and 6ths were before, but this lesson really helped me put together how to use that stuff.
I'm the type that has memorized more scales, modes, and chord shapes than a lot of guitarist who sound way better than me. I struggle to connect the dots on all the info I learn, and this lesson really helped with that.
Thanks, Jim!

Comments
I like the comment about "learn" vs "use". I am learning a lot from Jim's lessons and there are lots of things in the lessons to use and apply to my own music.
Cheers

The improv section is really cool. I spent some time last night using some of the ideas from the lesson and playing over some other backing tracks I have laying around from a former band. I know my scales and triads and arpeggios, and I've even practiced them in thirds before, but I struggle to make something musical out of that information. This lesson helped a ton!
