No Fun Questions

Jim, any plans on a "No Fun" lesson? Think this would be a cool one.

Do you remember the gear used on this song? Is that single note in the beginning being done as a reverse loop, and is it being created by using a higher gain pedal and vibrato, ala Hendrix Foxy Lady intro?

Probably my favorite song you've done with a vocalist.

    Hi Aaron - I'm so glad you liked "No Fun" and you might be the first to write me about it!
    I don't think I'll ever do "No Fun" as a lesson! Believe me sir, I'm really grateful you asked but it would be a humdinger to figure out what I was doing. It was improvised "live" and there were multi-track looping that for the life of me I could never replicate.

    Thanks for the reply. I think I've counted 2 different loops, with a possible 3rd. This is such a great song. You and Leah did such an awesome rendition. I'll let you know if I get it figured out :)

    This sounds dumb, but initially I didn't notice this song doesn't have drums! It grooves along just fine without them.

    Hey guys, my wife and I just bought a house so I've been away for awhile and haven't had a chance to start working on this. I do have a couple things figured out, but I'll post it once I'm done, if it's ok with Jim.
