Question about Twister chart

edited July 2014 in Root
Hi Jim,

I'm not sure I should ask this here on the forum or maybe I should address it directly to folks at TrueFire, but I have one doubt about the Twister 2 chart. In the middle of the solo, shouldn't the II V I jazz lick after the F#7 chord begin on the 10th fret (C) instead of the 9th fret (B) as described on the chart?

Thanks!

  • I noticed in Bar 3 of Twister there's no E chord change and I believe there should be one for half the measure..?

I haven't seen the TrueFire chart but depending on how they wrote it - 2/4 or 4/4, having B in bar 3 (no E) is correct and the E occurs in Bar 4. The LBM chart indicates the change correctly.

Just so you know ... Please send LBM questions to the Right Hand Man campilongoheadquarters@gmail.com - as far as TrueFire - the best source I can find is http://truefire.com/# I'm sure someone more clever then me can find a more direct email.

Meanwhile I'll see if I can find a TrueFire contact for your questions concerning transcriptions etc.

Guys- Sincerely, I hope this helps.

Thanks for ordering the lessons. All the best- Jim
  • i've been working Twister from the LBM for the past week. It's starting to really come together. "dead thumb" is still a bit tricky for me. double-stops with middle and ring are getting better.

and I gotta say this tune just has the greatest licks ever. licks I've always wanted to play. it just put's a big smile on my face.

Thanks for the reply, Jim. I just hope it didn't sound as if I was nitpicking or something - it was more like chicken picking in this case :) - I wasn't even sure posting this on the forum would be a good idea in the first place but I thought other forum members might benefit from the feedback somehow.

I am enjoying the course immensely and still think of it as a perfect companion to the LBM.

    All the best - Rogerio
