  • Great Interview Jim!!!
  • Thank you guys- I felt comfortable that day and had fun. Glad it was worth watching.
  • +1 Jim. What is that tag hanging from the Princeton behind you? It was something that caught my eye,
    when I watched the video.

My mother Laverne made those tags.

Laverne is an avid quilter and belongs to a "bee" where they share sewing ideas- those tags being one of the many projects. So, about 6 years ago she gave me two tags and I loved them and asked for more. They are cleverly made and business cards fit perfectly in the plastic holder... I put them on everything- luggage, gig bags and of course amps.

Those tags really stand out and help me identify what stuff is mine. You'd be surprised in how many Princeton Reverbs are at a typical multi-band NYC show. Last night, there were three silverface amps.

    Thanks Mom!

  • I figured you owned all the Princetons in the NY metro area by now. haha. kidding of course. those are very cool and unique!

it's a great idea too. I did have a Tele stolen from a gig in NYC around '93, so it's a good way to keep an eye on things.
  • Lovely tags! Wonderful story. I would like to have some tags too - can I order some from your mom? (Ok, I guess I have to sew by myself...)
  • jim the custom model fender made you is pretty nice ........... glendale guitars makes one kinda like your model just not a top loader......... but with that said you get such a great sound wow.
