I'm very excited to let you know that I have a new recording project in the works - a project I've been trying to get together for a while but the stars have not aligned until now.
This project will be with a very special group of musicians but there's way too much to share in an email so I made a short video that will give you the whole scoop on exactly what we're up to...

Jim and the band have been so generous in sharing most all of their live performances online for free, or allowing others to share them, including myself. I am happy for the opportunity to contribute to the official album. Also, the band can decide where to spend the extra money if and when the funding exceeds the goal on Kickstarter...so to answer AaronW's question, there is always a chance, if the project really takes off, for just about anything...although vinyls are a very labor-intensive and somewhat thankless endeavor, they are totally cool, so lets hope for the best case scenario. If they do make them there wont be many, so snag one quick! they could maybe do a 45 too...just thinking out loud.
Once this project is funded I will post an unseen Honeyfingers video, or possibly a live audio download, here. just as long as that's ok with the band (no album spoilers though!)
I'm really happy to play a small part in this endeavour.

I want to thank everyone *each and every one of you* who has helped the Campilongo & Honeyfingers KickStarter project.
To sum up my feelings, I feel a bit like Jimmy Stewart's character, George Bailey in "It's a Wonderful Life". You know - at the end of the film, when George Bailey's friends come through and help out. I'm overwhelmed and touched that whatever music I've made in the past warranted this kind of generosity and support, and I know the entire group is grateful and excited for this opportunity to make the best record we possibly can - because of you.
I also want to thank my pal Dave Boat. His selfless hours of what I would call tedious homework, never hampered his enthusiasm and love for this project. Dave is a real good guy and I'm proud to call him my friend.
So, we have less then two weeks remaining to try to get additional mixing money, publicity money etc via KickStarter... Please check out the page, we added some good rewards and we aren't finished yet.
All that said- We start recording November 11!
