Jimmy Bryant and his Jazzmaster

Does anyone know anything about Jimmy and his jazzmaster? I've only ever seen one picture of him with it. Does anyone know if he recorded anything with it or if the picture was just purely for promotional purposes? It looks to be an early 60s jazzmaster with a gold anodized guard. Similar to the Squier J Mascis jazzmaster that hit the market a couple years ago.

Also not sure if the picture is signed to Roy, being Roy Lanham, or Ray. It does seem to be a promotional photo for Sons of Pioneers.

    Just found out today that it is a 59 jazzmaster custom ordered along with an electric mandolin and a p-bass. All instruments are white with matching headstocks and gold anodized guards (source was an instagram post by the fender genius terry_foster).
