Favorite Albums of 2016
One of my favorite threads that comes up this time of year is the one calling for favorite albums of the previous year. I love discovering new music and always find great recommendations from fellow members of this forum. The albums don't necessarily need to have been released in 2016. I'm just curious what albums you've listened to the most. Here are mine.

And this video of Jimmie Rivers playing solo guitar - Thanks Jim! - Does anyone know the name of the song?
Jim Campilongo & Honeyfingers – Last Night, This Morning: Released on CD in 2015, but the vinyl LP came out in early 2016 so it qualifies. Possibly my favorite Jim album of them all (Fran’s too).
Van Morrison – It’s Too Late To Stop Now, Vols. I-IV: Van the Man and his band recorded at various venues in 1973. I would have been satisfied with a straight reissue of the original double album, but this release includes three additional CDs of full shows from the same tour with not a lot of song duplication. "Turn it up!"
Otis Redding – Live at the Whisky A Go Go: Recorded over three nights in 1966, when Otis and his band absolutely smoked the Sunset Strip. Lots of duplicate songs spread over six CDs, but who can complain? There’s no such thing as too much Otis!
Mike Neer - Steelonius
