  The gig was great. And I got the new CD!
  
  Somehow I missed the memo that Jim replaced his pick guard. When did that happen?
  
  Also I note that he played a Deluxe. Presumably a loaner 65 RI? If the dials didn't change after the show, I saw (waiting in line for a CD) it was Vol 10, Bass and Treble around 6 or 7.

  Regarding his pick guard. If it changed it changed since his show in Detroit in early September. I have a photo I took with the pick guard being held down in 3 places by a plastic washer

  Last night was great! Deluxe Reverb again. Only complaint was the show should've been twice as long
  
  Brought the back panel from my orange Princeton, and Jim was kind enough to sign it for me. The new live album is killer! Get it as soon as you can.

  We absolutely loved the Trio show at the Green Mill! It was great to meet you, Chris and Josh...you guys may be the most unpretentious group of monster-level players I've ever met.
  
  Looking forward to a Monday night set at Rockwood on my next NYC visit.
