    Sometimes we have to accommodate the progression (and key of course) for the "head" melody - but unless the solo section progression is too drastic a departure from the head melody, usually solo sections "open up" to something standardized - so the progression written in your post can work for the solo sections of these blues/Jazz tunes... and many more.
