After listening to Jim's interview with Everyone Loves Guitar, Jim's reminiscing about his childhood meatless Fridays gave me an idea for a possible song title on a future album...."Waffles On Friday". Sort of Helen Keller II.
Funny, I don't recall talking about waffles (that was a long-ass interview!), but I'm sure every person brought up Catholic in their 50's and up, can relate. Have a great day - Jim
Jim, you talked about Catholics having fish on Friday and sometimes your family didn't have fish but had waffles instead...which you found delightful. I admit that sometimes the wife and I have waffles for dinner, made on a 1940 Sunbeam waffle iron.
